Operation Expansion Mission:

Designing technical apparel for the Power sports and Action sports industries is an exciting challenge. The level of performance required to support today's athletes is at an all time high. Limits are being pushed beyond comprehension and the gear must address these demands accordingly. Innovative conceptualization, rigorous product testing and a clear understanding of manufacturing processes is increasingly important in today’s performance apparel categories.

The Operation Expansion methodology thrives on a few basic principles... Integrity, Leadership, Expertise, Discovery and Passion. Our goal is to provide our clients with a product or service that is above and beyond that in which our clients previously knew was possible. We are the dreamers and we possess the expertise to bring those dreams into reality for you.

A product has the best chance of reaching its full potential through extensive research, development, user testing and refinement stages. The end result is a product that meets the performance criteria, is intuitive and hits the target price necessary to be successful in the market.

The Expansion process consists of six steps to ensure these goals are met or exceeded:

01- Investigate
A design team's first priority is to become acquainted with the topic at hand. Based on field reconnaissance & market research, the team is able to determine a variety of opportunities that meet or exceed the project brief, timeline and budget criteria.

02- Analyze
Compile the investigative information and determine the relevant issues / factors that will drive the conceptual phase of the project.

03- Conceptualize
Present a variety of design concepts that best address the project brief criteria.

04- Design/Develop
Refine the chosen concept's function and aesthetic and prepare technical art packages for the factory and initiate the sampling phases.

05- Prototype Testing
A working prototype is best tested in a realistic, real life user testing situation. Document the user experience and decipher any possible improvements or alterations that can be addressed before the production phase begins.

06- Refine & Approval for production
Deliver any last details and costing requirements to the factory before starting the initial production run.
